“This is my story. Just one chapter. And I’m still writing it.”

In 2016, I starved myself and lost 20kg.
In 2017, I became a PT and helped others do the same.
(With the best intentions… but a whole lot of diet culture 🤦‍♀️)

Then came hypothyroidism.
Adrenal fatigue.
Insulin resistance.
15kg gained while doing everything “right.”
I ran. I lifted. I ate whole foods. And still… my body was exhausted and holding on.

I fought my body for years.

Eventually, I stopped fighting and started listening.

That’s when everything changed.

I began helping women feel strong and confident, not just smaller.

I learned how much more there is to health than calories and scales.

I stopped chasing skinny and started building strength (mentally and physically).

✨ But growth isn’t linear.
In March 2025, I finally found a GP who really listened.

In June, I met a specialist who told me to starve myself even harder 😅🍆
(Plot twist: I said no.)

Now? I’m starting Mounjaro.
Because I refuse to keep punishing my body for not working like someone else’s. It needs help and support & if these medications that are thought of for only weight loss will give it that help, I refuse to be ashamed or feel like I’m caving/giving in/doing it to be “skinny”. I’m doing it so my body can function normally. 

And I’m sharing the ride—because I know I’m not the only one.

I’m evolving. Learning. Unlearning.
